TR/19 is a 2005 guide for good practice in maintaining clean ventilation systems as produced by the HVCA.

The guide sets out the levels of cleanliness and verification for ductwork systems and details on cleaning 'in use' systems.  Guidance is provided as to the stages at which cleaning is required when considering kitchen extract cleaning as well as extract fans, flexible ductwork and many other ventilation cleaning standards
